White Out
At a “White Out” event in Atlanta, 600 guests dressed in all white eveningwear to celebrate Labor Day 2008 in style. Classic Party Rentals provided an 80-foot-by-140-foot white structure tent that covered the lawn. Four pine trees remained inside the structure, which had to be leveled using different leg sizes. Classic also created a soft floor that was covered with artificial snow to protect the lawn space, and Designer 8 Furniture Rentals supplied white leather booths and sofas for three lounge areas. The white “flat-liner” was pulled tight, and color-wash lighting was used in blue, lavender and green to create a visualization of ice in the tent. All steel was covered with white liner and pole covers to authenticate the winter wonderland. The crew worked vigorously to complete all installs just five days prior to the event date due to the delicate ice sculptures and décor.
